Kevin’s journey into the world of HVAC began after graduating from high school in 1971 when he enrolled in Lincoln Technical Institute to pursue a diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration service. Throughout his education, Kevin gained practical experience by working for his family’s business, Neil S Sullivan Associates, primarily in Northern New Jersey and New York City.

He then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute and graduated in 1979. Following his graduation, Kevin embarked on a career with The Trane Company, where he sold and marketed Trane equipment in Sacramento until 1990, before transferring to San Francisco until 1997.

In 1997, Kevin shifted gears and ventured into entrepreneurship, founding Kevin Sullivan and Associates. Drawing upon his extensive experience in the industry, Kevin worked tirelessly to establish and grow his company, which now employs 146 individuals across various divisions including piping, sheet metal, architectural sheet metal, and service and controls.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Kevin finds joy in spending time with his family. He resides in the East Bay with his wife. He is a proud father and stepfather and a loving grandfather. Despite his busy schedule, Kevin makes time for his hobbies, particularly golfing and horses.

As a dedicated leader, Kevin remains actively involved in managing his company while maintaining important relationships with his family and friends. He believes in creating a positive company culture where employees work with a can do attitude.
