Jesse brings a unique blend of technical expertise, project leadership, and versatility to the HVAC industry. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, he possesses a deep understanding of HVAC system design, large-scale estimating, preconstruction and construction management, and risk mitigation. His ability to seamlessly manage multiple disciplines while continuously refining his craft makes him a key asset to the firm.
Hoffman has led several high-profile projects, including The Landing, a life sciences core & shell new construction project in Burlingame with Hathaway Dinwiddie. This $23M project included a complex HVAC and hydronics scope featuring built-up AHUs, water-cooled chillers, air-source heat pumps, lab exhaust fans, and heat recovery coil plenums. His largest project to date, Project Ranger, was a 1.2 million sq. ft. turbine manufacturing facility with a $60M HVAC and process primary-secondary chilled water system. Jesse played a critical role in developing the chilled water flow diagrams and designing specialty gas routing and sizing.
A former Division 1 football player at Eastern Washington University, Jesse earned the Iron Eagle Award for excellence in academics and team leadership and was part of the 2011 FCS National Championship-winning team. His athletic career extended to the NFL, where he played as a free agent for the Seattle Seahawks, appearing in three preseason games under Pete Carroll.
Originally from Fountain Valley, CA, and raised in Seattle, WA, Jesse has been part of the Bay Area community since 2015. Beyond his professional career, he is passionate about mentoring and coaching, particularly in youth sports. He coaches his 7-year-old daughter’s softball team in the Alameda Girls Softball League and enjoys watching the NFL and NBA, working out, skateboarding, snowboarding, and picking up golf as his next challenge.
